Dr. Arun Sharma, alumni of IIT Roorkee and Thapar University has demonstrated his intellectual, interpersonal and managerial skills in various domains. Having vast teaching experience in various reputed Govt. and Private Institutions with the role ranging from Lecturer to Professor to Head, currently he is Professor and Head of Computer Science and Engineering at Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghaziabad UP INDIA. His areas of interests include Software Engineering, Soft Computing and Database Systems. His current research focus is on Metrics for Autonomic Systems, Component-based and Embedded Systems. He has published a number of papers in international journals including ACM, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, IEE and others. He has published several papers in Conferences in India and abroad. Along with being a committed teacher and a passionate researcher, he has been actively contributing his services for underprivileged sections of the society and contributing immensely as a member of Solution Exchange for ICT for Development Community of UNESCO and Brahmi Society for Education and Research. Recently, his name has been included in the Marquis Who's Who in the World. Dr. Sharma is an active Senior Member of IEEE, Member ACM and Life Member Computer Society of India. He is also on the panel of subject experts and examination for various Universities like IGNOU, BBA University (Central), Lucknow, GGSIP University, Delhi, Thapar University, Patiala, MCRP University, Bhopal and others. He is also an active member of Editorial Board and Review Committee of several Conferences and Journals including Journal of Computer Science (USA), International Journal of Computer Science and Security (Malaysia), International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science, India and others.
